2. What we sell

Everything in the shop is used. Each listing is one specific handset, not a model in general, and it is described by the grade, battery health and any marks we recorded when we tested it. Photographs show the model; the description and grade describe the actual device you will receive.

Items listed as spares or repair are sold as seen, for parts or repair. They are not sold as being in working order and are not covered by the warranty in clause 7.

3. Prices and VAT

The price shown is the total price of the device. Delivery is shown separately in the basket before you pay.

Most of our stock is second-hand goods sold under the VAT margin scheme. For those items VAT is not shown as a separate amount and a VAT invoice cannot be issued. This does not change what you pay. Where an item is sold VAT-standard-rated instead, the VAT included is shown on your order confirmation.

4. Your order

Choosing a handset and paying places an order. Because each listing is a single device, we hold it for you while you pay. A contract is formed when we confirm your order by email, or when we dispatch the device, whichever happens first.

If a device becomes unavailable before we confirm it — for example if two people reach the last one at the same moment — we will tell you and take no payment, or refund you in full.

5. Payment

Payment is taken by card through Stripe. Your card details are entered on Stripe's own secure page and are never seen or stored by us.

6. Delivery

We send devices by tracked delivery to the address you give at checkout. We will tell you the tracking number when it ships. Unless we agree otherwise, we deliver within 30 days of the contract being formed. Risk passes to you when the device is delivered.

7. Warranty

Devices graded Excellent, Good or Fair are sold in full working order and carry a 12-month warranty from delivery, covering faults that were present or developing at the point of sale. It does not cover accidental damage, liquid damage, wear to the battery through normal use, or faults caused by modification or repair by anyone else.

Items sold as spares or repair carry no warranty.

8. Your legal rights

Nothing in these terms reduces your legal rights. As a consumer you have the right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, and rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 if goods are faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose. See our returns and cancellation page.

9. Before you send a device back

Please remove any account lock and back up anything you want to keep. We cannot recover data from a returned device, and a device still locked to an account cannot be tested or resold.

10. Our liability

We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to exclude. We are not liable for loss of data, loss of profit, or business losses.

11. Complaints

Please contact us at [EMAIL] and we will try to put things right.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes may be brought in its courts.
